Our drive to Minneapolis took longer than expected, with construction, an emergency bathroom stop, a trip to Target, and a hungry baby, so we were late for our dinner date. Luckily he was understanding and was waiting for us in the lobby after we checked in.
We were lucky to get to visit both David's roommate from college Mr. P and Uncle K while we were visiting the Twin Cities. We had dinner with Mr. P Monday night downtown and then drove over to the Guthrie Museum to see a few of the sights including St. Anthony Falls and the old General Mills flour mill. The flour mill exploded years ago and you can see the twisted metals beams and blown out walls. It's now been turned into a museum, but we'll have to save it for our next trip. The view from the pedestrian bridge is beautiful, especially with the setting sun. As we walked there was a truck coming by picking up huge letters that had been set up along the bridge. I asked what they had spelled and turns out it was "think and wonder, wonder and think". A book we know well.
