Today begins our cross country adventure. After a late night packing, David and I got up early with the hope of getting off at our planned time of 9am. Our list of tasks was long but most had been crossed off. However, 8am found me emptying the water out of our fish tank with David shaking his head at me, but who wants to come home to a moldy fish tank? Somehow we were packed and ready to leave about 45 minutes late with everything crossed off. As we were getting ready to turn off our street, Mr. 7 dropped a piece of his very special new toy (the boys sat in the car for the last hour before we left because they were just too excited to wait despite my warning that this was only the beginning of our time in the car). So we pulled over so I could fish it out and we were off again. We officially began our journey at 10am - and our first stop at the bathroom was 45 minutes later. We are not speedy but we are definitely enthusiastic!
