Mr. 7 sang in "It's Cool in the Furnace" today and did an amazing job. He's come a long way from his first concert as a toddler when he sucked his thumb and refused to look at the audience. He was confident and engaged and did a fantastic job. They actually sang for both services this morning and he was beat by the end - but was excited that he'll be able to do it again next year!
One of the best parts of the cantata was watching Mr. 5 watch Mr. 7. We've been listening to the music for months and he knows all the words to every song. He either sang along out loud or just mouthed the words along with his brother. And occassionally tried to get Mr. 7's attention so he could wave to him. At the dress rehearsal, Mr. 7 actually called to Mr. 5 from the stage but we talked about not doing that during the real show. They really are the best of friends and are so proud of each other.
