Tuesday morning was another warm day so we headed to the park with the kids. The older boys quickly tired of the playground that was filled with toddlers and preschoolers and wandered down into the woods. Mr. 4, not to be left out of anything the older brothers do, quickly followed. They found the creek and the tunnel that went under the path and insisted on exploring it. They had a grand time exploring and it was fun to watch them carry Mr. 4 over any really wet and muddy parts. There was a whole story of another world, as there often is, as they happily called back and forth to one another. The group from the playground passed by on there way home and the kids asked if they could play in the stream. It was funny to listen to the mothers explain to their little ones why it wasn't such a good idea. I don't think they approved of the boys muddy adventure but they had such a wonderful time. I don't think any of those kids will remember their day at the park but my boys certainly remember theirs!
