Mr. 3 was again up bright and early. David took him out to explore the hotel and I managed an extra 30 minutes of sleep before needing to switch into crisis management. David returned with coffee and we turned on the TV so we could pack up. My aunt and uncle were hosting a breakfast and then we were heading down to Colorado Springs and Garden of the Gods for part 2 of our trip. The packing of course went smoothly with no yelling whatsoever and we arrived at brunch in a cheery and timely manner. Okay, not exactly - but we did arrive only about 30 minutes late and we were all in pretty good moods. The boys played games with cousins, Mr. 3 watched way too many movies on David's phone, I washed one quick load of laundry, and we had a great time visiting with everyone. My aunt even pulled out her guitar and sang for Mr. 3!
And then we headed off for adventure. First stop, Trader Joes for some supplies and lunch. Our goal was to picnic in Garden of the Gods and then do some hiking
