We decided to make Friday Mr. 4's special day. I took the day off work but still had to go in for conference so I headed out at 6:45am with plans to meet up with everyone at the Museum of Science a bit later. Daddy, the boys, and Grandpa and Grandma arrived about 10am and Daddy left for work. We spent almost 5 hours exploring the Museum and visited almost all of Mr. 4's favorite things. We finally headed home and spent the rest of the afternoon taking a walk, making homemade pizza, and making a cake (without sugar which was part of our Lent - we decided a little maple syrup would be okay). We finished off the day watching a few episodes of the old 1940s Superman cartoon. Altogether a great day to celebrate our Mr. 4.
His actual birthday is of course Earth Day (an Earth Day Birthday) and they'll be a party with friends a bit later so there's more celebration to come which is fine by him!
