Going home

Everyone always seems surprised I don't just want to hang out in the hospital as long as possible. I've spent plenty of time eating hospital food and sleeping in hospital beds and I'd like to minimize additional time if possible. Plus there are so many people waiting for us and I just want to be home with them.

    Oh, we always go home as quickly as they'll let us! (You have to stay 24 hours for some infant tests or they make you sign all the AMA papers and sometimes threaten to call SRS. That's too much drama for me, so we stay the 24 hours, get the tests and hit the road.)
